What you ask us

Short, verifiable answers. If something is missing, write to info@bettrails.com.

01General

What is Bettrails?

An independent eSports analytics lab: virtual football (9 leagues), League of Legends, Dota 2, CS2, VALORANT and NBA 2K basketball. We collect every match, measure the level and form of players and teams, and publish probabilities with their reliability.

Is it a tipping service?

No. We don’t sell opinions or “sure bets”. We publish data and probabilities with their reliability, and we say when a model is still being validated.

What exactly does it cover?

Nine virtual football leagues (GT Leagues, Esports Battle, Volta, eRivals, Adriatic, Cyber Live Arena, GG League, Valhalla and Valkyrie), League of Legends, Dota 2, CS2 and VALORANT, and three NBA 2K leagues (eSportsBattle NBA and EURO, and GG League).

Who is behind it?

An independent, self-funded lab operating from Spain, with no ties to bookmakers, platforms or sponsors.

Which languages?

Spanish, English, German, French and Portuguese: the public site, the panel and the alerts.

02Data and models

Where does the data come from and how often is it updated?

From each league’s and competition’s public results. Matches and results update every minute, ELO every hour, and the calibration and summary figures every day at 05:00 (Spain time).

What is ELO?

A level number per player: it rises with wins and falls with losses, more so the more unexpected the result. In esports we use our own strength ranking and, for CS2, Valve’s official ranking.

How does the virtual football prediction work?

We compute each side’s expected goals (one side’s attack against the other’s defence), the probability of every score and, from that, who wins and how many goals there will be. It takes each pair’s history into account and avoids overrating the favourite. Every adjustment is tested on past matches before it is used.

What does “being validated” mean?

That the model is new and has not yet been checked against enough new matches. It is shown anyway, with a note that it is a guide.

How do I know the numbers are good?

Our models are tested on past matches before they are used, and new ones are flagged “being validated” until they have enough sample. Every prediction carries reliability stars based on its sample. And we measure the benchmark in public: every day we compare the margin-free market probability with what happened in GT Leagues matches over the last 30 days (the market calibration, on the home page and in the methodology).

Why is there sometimes no prediction?

Because there is not enough data: a new player or team, an opponent still to be decided or a match with no history. We prefer to show nothing rather than a number with no basis.

03Account and price

Is it free?

Yes. During the beta the full panel is free, ad-supported and needs no card. Paid plans will return later and we will announce it in advance.

What does the panel include?

Live matches, head to head, player and team pages, ELO and rankings, predictions with their reliability, the margin-free market, alerts and your personal agenda.

How do alerts work?

Follow a player or a team and we alert you before it starts and when it ends, on your phone (installed app or browser) or via Telegram.

Can I install it as an app?

Yes. From your phone’s browser, add it to the home screen: it works like an app, no app store needed.

04Responsible use

Does Bettrails accept bets?

No. Bettrails does not organise or accept bets and takes no commissions from bookmakers. It is analytics.

Do you guarantee results?

No. No model is always right; that is why we show the reliability of every figure and say when a model is being validated. If gambling stops being entertainment, seek professional help.

Is there a minimum age?

Yes: Bettrails is for adults (18+) only.
